FlameSTAR was created to fill a market need for a safe, reliable burner management system to replace aging relay based systems, and to replace microprocessor based systems that do not meet current regulatory requirements.
KMH Engineering’s FlameSTAR solutions feature Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems at the heart of the design.
Key features include:
· Hardwired Master Fuel Trip circuit
· Internal and External Watchdog timers to monitor program execution
· Permissive / First Out Fault Diagnostics to reduce downtime and assist in troubleshooting
· Continuous monitoring of Critical Inputs and Outputs for failure detection
· Pushbutton, or HMI based Operator Interface - Optional fully integrated Operator Interface into any Distributed Control System
· Single Burner or Multi-burner configurations
· Single Fuel or Multi-Fuel designs
· All systems come complete with Operational Manuals and drawings generated using the latest CAD software.
· Hardware and Software designed to the latest CSA B149.3 and NFPA 85 and or NFPA 86 standards as applicable
· Designs approved by governing authorities to ensure compliance to local regulations
Each FlameSTAR system is custom built to site-specific functionality and delivered with site-specific wiring schematics. All FlameSTAR systems are fully tested for internal panel wiring and are CSA certified prior to shipment.
