March 18, 2009: The scope of this project consisted of the replacement of an existing Flooded Turpentine Storage Tank and upgrades to rail car loading equipment. The new Flooded Turpentine Storage Tank is gravity fed from a Turpentine Decanter. Rail car loading is accomplished by pushing water into the bottom of the new Flooded Turpentine Storage Tank forcing Turpentine out the top of the tank to piping that runs to the rail car loading station. A new Kiln Turpentine Burner Pump supplies turpentine to a Kiln when required. The suction line of Kiln Turpentine Burner Pump is located near the top of the tank.
