KMH has the capability of providing analytical services in such areas as short circuit studies, arc flash studies, load flow studies, stability analysis, grounding studies, and motor starting analysis utilizing state of the art computer analysis software tools.
KMH has experience in providing detailed design for upgrades and modifications to high voltage substations of up to 230 kV including high and medium voltage switchgear, transformers, metering, grounding, bus, and cabling. Deliverables would include updated relaying and metering single lines, 3-line AC schematics, DC schematics, point-to-point wiring drawings, panel layouts, general arrangements, grounding layouts, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, bills of material, construction specifications, relay settings and narratives, and commissioning checklists. Also included in our services would be civil/structural engineering services.
